Dental Services for Merrimack Families
Dental Designs of New England is a modern dental practice for the whole family. Our philosophy of care is that every patient deserves comprehensive services. What does that mean? It means that we look at you as a whole person, not just a set of teeth. We look at teeth, gums, soft tissues, your jaw joints, everything about your head and neck. Why? Because we are in the health care field, and teeth do not exist in a vacuum. It is all connected. Your dental health is important for your overall health.
We work with you and at your pace so that you can get the best dentistry we have to offer. If you are ready to jump in with both feet, we are here to help. If you need to wade in a bit slower, you can dictate the pace. Comprehensive means we look at everything and come up with a plan that is right for you. If you’re ready to get started with your comprehensive dentistry plan at Dental Designs of New England, call our Merrimack dental office today and reserve an appointment for yourself or every member of your family. Patients in the Merrimack, Nashua, Bedford, Hollis, Hudson, and Amherst areas rely on Dr. Shetty for comprehensive dental care and a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Our ability to provide many different services allows patients to receive the majority of their treatments in a single convenient location. Dr. Shetty works closely with Dr. Braga, our periodontist, so patients needing advanced treatments for bone and gum diseases, dental implants, or other periodontal therapies never have to leave our office for care. With a dedication to state-of-the-art dentistry treatments, Dental Designs of New England creates lasting oral health and beautiful smiles for entire families.
Keeping your smile whole and healthy for a lifetime is our main goal at Dental Designs of New England. Our dentistry practice is dedicated to prevention. We encourage patients to visit us at least two times each year for dental checkups. During these appointments, we’ll evaluate your oral and facial structures to provide diagnosis for oral health concerns in the earliest stages and partner with you to prevent further dental issues.
General & Family Dentistry
We welcome patients of all ages, and we are happy to provide care for the whole family in just one office. We are happy to schedule a block of appointments, so you can come to see us on the same day. We are proud to serve generations of families in the Merrick community.
A flawless smile is a gift that few of our patients are born with. If you’re unhappy with any aspect of your smile, our team can help. We offer a wide range of cosmetic dentistry services to help you achieve a brighter, straighter, more perfect smile.
Replacing missing teeth used to mean only restoring those parts of the smile visible above the gum line. Dental implants allow us to replace the root system and the crowns of missing teeth, creating flawlessly restored smiles that look, feel, and function just like natural tooth structures.
For patients with decayed or damaged teeth, porcelain crowns allow us to repair the tooth without adversely affecting the appearance of the smile. These custom crafted restorations fully restore lost tooth structure, shape, and function, and they look just like your healthy, natural smile.
Root Canal Therapy
Painful toothaches and dental sensitivity may mean you need a root canal. This procedure has a bad reputation, but root canals can actually significantly relieve the painful toothache that precedes them. When we need to perform a root canal, you will be completely comfortable throughout the procedure, and most patients feel much better immediately following their root canal.
To replace one or more consecutive missing teeth, we may recommend a fixed bridge. Traditional fixed bridge prosthetics are supported by healthy surrounding teeth with crowns that are fused with the surrounding tooth structure. We can also use a dental implant supported fixed bridge to replace numerous consecutive teeth.
Full dentures are used to restore smiles for patients who have lost an entire arch of teeth. We can custom craft a traditional, removable denture or a dental implant retained prosthetic for our patients.
Partial dentures are crafted to fill in gaps following advanced tooth loss. They allow us to maintain the remaining healthy tooth structure while restoring the lost teeth. Partials, like full dentures, are crafted using a gum colored base material to support numerous replacement teeth. Partials can be held in place with metal clasps attached to surrounding teeth or dental implant posts.
When patients are in need of advanced oral surgeries, we’re here to help with these procedures. Our team provides numerous surgical treatments, including tooth extraction and dental implant placement.
